Sun Drops Energia Limited (incorporated in May 2019) is a rapidly growing Indian renewable energy enterprise operating as the specialized solar and hybrid energy arm of Surat-headquartered KP Group.
Sun Drops Energia uniquely bridges the renewable landscape by functioning simultaneously as an Independent Power Producer (IPP) that owns and operates utility-scale power assets, and a turnkey Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) provider.
The company focuses heavily on empowering commercial and industrial (C&I) clients to transition away from fossil-fuel-driven grids. Backed by the robust engineering lineage of the KP Group, Sun Drops has steadily expanded into Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and large-scale green energy consolidation—positioning itself at the forefront of India's round-the-clock (RTC) clean energy transition.
