Ramaraju Surgical Cotton Mills (part of Ramco Group) has emerged as Southern India’s largest producer of surgical dressings, yarn, and gray fabrics with its manufacturing facilities located in Rajapalayam, Subramaniapuram, Perumalpatti Village, Tamilnadu and in Jaggaiahpet, Andhra Pradesh.

The monthly production capacity of the company is 125 tons of medical grade cotton and 1.5 million square meters of bandages and gauze products.

The company uses captive generated power from its own windmills and rooftop solar plant to meet its power needs. The company has installed wind mill capacity of 8.30 MW and 1.20 MW solar power panels for its captive power consumption.

Over the years it has diversified into spinning and weaving, producing some of the world’s finest cotton yarn and manufacturing premium fabrics for shirting, bed linens and Jacquard cloth.

It produces nearly 400 tons of superfine count ring-spun yarn and about 400 tons of open-end yarn per month. Today we offer over 200 unique products with the help of a 2,200 strong workforce and are well known for their quality products that meet or exceed customer expectations, which has helped us build a loyal base of satisfied customers spread across the globe.
